What things do you want to do?

We’ve got a few systems for how we do things, but everything starts with a good conversation. Whether you need a website, want to work with us on an event or you need some help with your business, let’s do a sit down. First why don’t you check out some of the things we do and then give us a ring.

Let's do Events

We focus mainly on promoting Reno's vibrant nightlife. Some of our events include:

Reno Zombie Crawl

What started in 2008 with 300 people has grown to nearly 10,000 in attendance, brings in hundreds of thousands in revenue for Reno’s local economy and now raises on average about $10,000 for charity.

Reno Superhero Crawl

The very first (and still best!) superhero-themed bar crawl in the world, the Reno Superhero Crawl has been nationally featured in Wired magazine and television show Art Mann Presents. We didn’t create it, but we currently run it (due to a collaboration with the Reno Santa Crawl). Each year thousands of people come to downtown Reno for the fun.

Reno Vampire Crawl

Everyone knows Valentine’s day sucks, so we decided to run with that idea and make it suck in a good way. The Vampire Crawl gives people a fun, sexy alternative to all the cherubs and pink boxes of chocolate.

Let's Do Marketing

From strategy to execution, we work together to communicate with your target customers

Marketing Strategy

Need a new direction? Starting a venture you’re not sure about? Let’s get together.

Together we’ll develop a comprehensive picture of what you do, why you do it, and who you should best spend your time connecting with. What is important isn’t the plan; it is whether you enjoy executing it and whether it gets the job done.

Design

Need a logo? Need print work done? Want some posters for your next event? How about flyers?

We have you covered. If you would like to see samples, just shoot us a message and let us know what your goals are.

Social

It may not take a rocket scientist to figure out how to use Facebook, but it does help to get advice when crafting your plan for utilizing social media. If you’re interested in connecting with your audience through social media tools but aren’t sure where to start then we can help. No one wants to create a bunch of profiles on websites they’ll end up not using, or losing 5 hours in a black hole, trying to figure out why something isn’t working. We’ve been around that block and can help you find the shortcuts.

Let's Talk About Ourselves

Who doesn't love to do that?

About Let’s Do Things

Let’s Do Things is the brainchild of Ed Adkins in Reno, Nevada. While he is the main do-er of things, many of the projects we do involve other partners with specific skill-sets, and none of our events would be able to happen without our many dedicated volunteers.

How we do things

Whether we’re running an event where we expect 10,000 people to attend or we’re building a website for a mom & pop shop, the first thing we do is have a chat. First, we do that because we want to totally understand what you do, what you want to do and how best to get it done. Second, we do this because it’s important to us that we all feel like we’re a good fit to work together.

After our initial meeting, we’ll return with a plan containing what’s going to get done, who’s doing it and when it will happen. After fine-tuning that with you and making sure we’re all on the same page, the action happens.

Simplicity

Generally, we like to keep our projects straight forward. If we’re running an event we try to avoid complexity. If we’re building a website, we don’t do a lot of custom work that isn’t absolutely needed.

Why we do it that way

We work with tools that we trust and don’t opt to reinvent the wheel because that keeps things simple, and simple things don’t break. Simple things are fun to use, too. By keeping things streamlined, we can provide you with a solution quickly and ensure it’ll be something you enjoy using for a long time to come.

About Ed Adkins

I’m Ed Adkins. I like doing lots of different things. That’s why I named my company Let’s Do Things. My background is about as varied as it gets, but I’ve got a lot of experience putting on large events, crafting and executing marketing strategies and building stuff on the web.

I believe in planning, so I’ll ask a ton of questions when we first meet, so I know for sure what you want to do and how best to do it. If you would like to see more about my professional background, my LinkedIn profile contains that and it’s fairly updated.
